Generous Fun Run donation to the IPFBA

The Irish Professional Footballers Benevolent Association extends sincere thanks to Athlone Town AFC for their generous contribution of €1,700 from their inaugural Community Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, July 5th.

The event brought more than 100 participants to the club’s stadium for a real community occasion. From Garry McDonnell’s winning time of 17:58 to club President Liam Gaffey’s remarkable two‑lap effort, every participant played a part in creating a memorable afternoon.

Athlone Town’s Fun Run raised €6,300 for its community partners, including Infinity Friends, St. Hilda’s Services, the Order of Malta, and the IPFBA.
