Rayne benefit

The IPFBA is urging every support for the Legends Match fundraiser in aid of brave Rayne Judge at the Tolka Rovers Sports Complex on Saturday, 11th October at 3pm.

Vintage Shamrock Rovers and Bohemian FC selections will be managed by our own Mick Byrne and Roddy Collins respectively.

Glasnevin girl Rayne, age 4, has an aggressive and rare cancerous brain tumour (Stage 4 Diffuse Midline Glioma: DMG) and is currently undergoing a six-week course of radiation therapy, having only shown signs of illness in early to mid-August.

The family hopes she could be a candidate for special treatment in Italy, specifically CAR T-cell therapy which has shown great promise in other types of cancer.

The wider community has been rallying behind this very worthy cause, which has received massive support since Rayne’s dad Colm shared news of the situation on social media. Fundraising towards an initial target of €170,000 has passed the 90% mark.

It’s €10 to attend the benefit game and a €20 ticket includes an evening of live music and special guests. See poster for contacts and donations can also be made via Go Fund Me.
