John Giles attends Limerick fundraiser

The IPFBA held a very successful golf classic in Limerick Golf Club on Friday, 27 September.

Some 40 teams and players from around the country converged on Ballyclough for the inaugural fundraising and social event. It was wonderful to have guest of honour Johnny Giles there to present the prizes.

The IPFBA Patron also donated some jerseys from his playing career and contacts in the game which were framed and auctioned on the night.

Ex-players from Limerick, Pat Nolan, Brendan Storan, Mick O’Donnell and Ray O’Halloran, did a fantastic job bringing it all together.

Well done to all concerned and special thanks to main sponsor Ger Haugh of PFL (Provincial Floorcoverings Ltd) and all our other prize donors and supporters.
